So the Chicago Tribune is going to a metered service like the New York Times. The difference? Every story in the Times is well written, substantial and worthy of either subscription or 10 articles. I look forward to reading each and every article.
Many of the Tribs articles are two sentences long, such as - motorist killed by Union Pacific train in Palatine. Check back for more details. Most times, it never gets updated. Worthy of a 10 article spend? Nope. Or, my favorite, when a missing person case, such as the childs body found in a Chicago Park Lagoon, gets solved but they dont take time to write a new story they just write a few new opening sentences and keep the rest of the original article where the identity is a mystery.
You are no New York Times, and I am no longer a reader. Its just not worth it.
